David Schmidt joined First Business Bank as Vice President - SBA Lending with more than 17 years of experience in SBA Lending and business finance. Prior to First Business Bank, he was a Regional Sales Manager where he led a team of sales professionals across the western region of the United States with an expertise in the dental, veterinary, and medical industries. He has a passion for helping business owners expand their businesses and achieve their dreams.

David grew up in the Pacific Northwest and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Western Washington University. In his free time, he is an avid sports fan with his favorites being the Seahawks and the Washington Huskies. David enjoys challenging himself in the gym, traveling, and playing fetch with his dogs. He resides in Seattle, Washington, with his son.
