First Business Bank will introduce new Mastercard® credit cards for businesses and individuals beginning in May 2025. The rollout will occur in waves, and your First Business Bank representative will provide newly enhanced program options available and assist you in selecting a card program that best fits your needs. We will coordinate a transition with you prior to September 1, 2025. Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition with personal assistance. Stay tuned for further details.

Why Did First Business Bank Change Credit Card Programs?
Our new program will better address clients' needs and preferences while offering enhanced features and functionality. Clients can expect a range of new benefits and improvements designed to enhance their overall experience. The new credit card program will include advanced security features to help protect against fraud and a rewards system that offers cash back for every purchase. Additionally, the program will have a more advanced mobile app, allowing clients to manage their accounts more easily on the go. We are committed to providing our clients with the best possible service, and this new credit card program is a significant step in that direction.
What will be the biggest change that the new credit card will offer?
The overall feature functionality will be a major improvement. Some of the features are:
- Virtual Card and Ghost Card payment options available with the Purchasing Card Program*.
- Clients will now be able to enjoy customizable expense reporting capabilities which is available for all business card solutions, at no expense.
- A mobile application with receipt management capabilities.
What steps are required to switch to the new credit card program?
Your First Business Bank account representative will be in touch to provide the necessary steps and will personally assist you through the process. Steps to look for:
- Selecting the right card program with our new provider*
- Plan to distribute new cards to employees who have a business credit card
- Payoff and close out the old card program
How long will it take to receive new cards?
Once the process of switching programs is completed, it should take around 5-7 business days to receive new cards.
How will I access the online portal to manage our program during the transition?
You will continue to have online access to your old program during the transition. Here are the login URLs for both the new and old credit card programs.
- New Card Login - Use this login if you received a new First Business Bank credit card after May 2025.
- Legacy Card Login - Sign in using this link if you have a First Business Bank credit card from prior to May 2025.
Will First Business Bank’s underwriting process change with the new card program?
No, we will continue to underwrite all our card programs.
