First Business Bank Awarded Outstanding Business on National Philanthropy Day
MADISON, WI — November 13, 2020 – First Business Bank, a division of First Business Financial Services, Inc., today was awarded “Outstanding Business” on National Philanthropy Day by the Association for Financial Professionals – Greater Madison. First Business Bank was nominated for the award by United Way of Dane County.
“In my mind, this is a heritage award in that it’s a recognition in what we’ve long done since our founding 30 years ago by Jerry Smith,” said First Business Financial Services, Inc., President & CEO Corey Chambas in his award acceptance, held virtually. “I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank United Way of Dane County who nominated us for this award. We are very strong advocates for their great work. This award is very much about our employees who, beyond their generous giving, also give their time. Last year, our 300 employees documented over 9,000 volunteer hours. I couldn’t be prouder of them and accepting this award.”
