About Billy
Billy Fox is President and a Principal of MLG Capital and is also a member of MLG Capital’s Board of Directors, Operating Committee, and Investment Committee. Billy has management responsibility over MLG Capital’s Legacy Fund and 1031 exchange activity. The Legacy Fund has grown to exceed $1.25B of property since its inception in early 2021. Billy enjoys partnering with high-net-worth owners of private real estate seeking a passive, tax-deferred exit strategy from their portfolio. Billy also works to grow the firm’s investor base and has been involved in $3.5B+ of total transactions.
Prior to MLG, Billy worked for J. Jeffers & Co, a Milwaukee-based real estate investment and development company focused on adaptive reuse projects in Southeastern Wisconsin. During his time at J. Jeffers & Co. Billy analyzed new investment and development opportunities and served as the asset manager on numerous projects.
Billy graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with degrees in Real Estate and Accounting and is a CPA.
