About Jessica
Jessica Colby joined First Business Bank’s Kansas City team as a Private Wealth Advisor in February of 2021. She has worked in the financial services and banking industry for over 22 years, with a focus on Private Wealth for the last eight years. Jessica works with a diverse client group, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners and their families, institutional investors, and non-profit organizations. She provides an unparalleled client experience in all aspects of the relationship, from banking and lending to Trust and Investment services.
As a Private Wealth Advisor, Jessica helps investors, business owners, and their families by providing proactive, holistic advice and services, including banking, lending, Financial Planning, Investment Management, and Estate and succession planning designed and customized to meet each client’s specific needs and goals.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Drury University (Springfield, MO) in 2001 and played soccer on their women’s team for four years. Jessica is very involved in Kansas City, both philanthropically and in professional development. She serves on the American Heart Association’s Executive Leadership Board for Circle of Red, a society of passionate individuals dedicated to making an impact in the fight against heart disease and strokes in women. Jessica also serves on the board of the Alzheimer’s Association - Heart of America Chapter. She has always had a passion for mentoring and is currently serving as co-chair of the Mentorship Committee for CREW KC (Commercial Real Estate Women).
Jessica grew up in Springfield, Missouri, and has lived and worked in the Kansas City area since 2004. She is married to Patrick Colby and has one son, two bonus children, and an adorable German Shorthaired Pointer named Jake. Her hobbies include golf, travel, reading, and watching her son play high school football.
