About Matt

Matt Neumann has been working in real estate development, home building and solar development for more than 15 years. He joined his dad, Mark, in Neumann Developments, the Milwaukee area’s largest residential land development company. He is a founding partner at Tim O'Brien Homes, Milwaukee area’s premier semi-custom green home builder. Matt is also a founding partner of Harbor Homes, a new building company focused on building new homes at a more attainable price. Matt is also a partner in Halen Homes, a custom home and empty nester condominium building company. His partner solar company, SunVest Solar, is Wisconsin’s largest solar developer focused on achieving American energy independence through market driven environmental stewardship, ranked as one of the largest solar developers in America.

Matt graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and received an MBA in marketing and finance from Marquette University. His business teams have been widely recognized both nationally and locally for their success over the years being named seven times on the list of fastest growing privately owned companies in America by Inc. 5000 Magazine. Matt was awarded 40 under 40 by the Business Journal, Professional Builder, and Midwest Renewable Energy News. Matt was also recently awarded the Wisconsin Way Future Leader of the Year. Matt also received the Builder/Developer of the Year from his peers in the Metropolitan Builders Association.
