About Michael

Michael Waters brings over 25 years of financial services leadership to businesses throughout Northeast Wisconsin, specializing in commercial banking, private banking, and strategic business growth. As a Partner at Capital Connection, he provides capital partnership opportunities for businesses seeking exit strategies, growth capital, and asset diversification. His banking career includes serving as President and Market President roles where he built comprehensive client relationships and led market expansion initiatives, helping businesses access customized lending solutions, treasury management services, and strategic financial guidance to support their growth objectives. 

Michael earned his MBA and bachelor's degree in business and finance from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He demonstrates his commitment to community development through his board service with the Valley Kids Foundation, and as treasurer and secretary of Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development.  

His previous board service includes various positions with Fox Cities Regional Partnership Economic Development Council, Fox West YMCA, Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Celebrity Golf Outing, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, JDRF NE Wisconsin, and March of Dimes Fox Cities.
