About Cooper

Cooper Wage joined First Business Bank as Vice President – Commercial Banking with over 12 years of commercial banking experience. He focuses on helping privately held businesses within the Midwest, specializing in the manufacturing and trucking industries. Cooper’s expertise in helping businesses involves listening and understanding clients' goals and strategies to align them with financial solutions and resources while leveraging his extensive network to provide value. He collaborates on behalf of clients with his teammates in Treasury Management, Private Wealth, SBA Lending, Equipment Finance, Asset-Based Lending, and Accounts Receivable Financing.

Cooper earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Outside of banking, he serves on the boards of Ducks Unlimited Milwaukee Chapter and Best Buddies Wisconsin. Cooper enjoys hunting, hiking, and powerlifting.  An entrepreneur at heart, Cooper owns and operates a powerlifting gym in Milwaukee and competed on Team USA at the IPF World Championships.
