David Kriete

David Kriete started his career in banking at M&I Bank before joining Kriete Truck Centers in 2006, stepping into the family business founded by his grandfather in Milwaukee in 1951. Since becoming President and CEO of The Kriete Group, Inc, David has led the company through significant growth, expanding its team and dealership footprint across Wisconsin while diversifying its portfolio to include more than ten franchise truck, trailer, and equipment brands. Under his leadership, Kriete has completed multiple strategic acquisitions, relocated its corporate headquarters to a landmark downtown Milwaukee building, and delivered Wisconsin's first Class 8 commercial electric trucks in partnership with Mack Trucks and the City of Madison.

David is deeply committed to the Greater Milwaukee business and civic community. He serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and the Volvo Trucks North American Dealer Advisory Board, and has served on the boards of the Milwaukee Athletic Club, ADAMM, the Mack Trucks North American Dealer Advisory Board, WATDA, and Special Olympics Wisconsin. David was recognized as one of Wisconsin's 275 Most Influential Business Leaders by BizTimes Media in 2025 and is active as a volunteer in his local faith community. He holds a degree in Economics from Xavier University and an MBA from Marquette University.
