Kristin Tyson serves as Senior Vice President at First Business Bank. With more than four decades of banking leadership experience in the Kansas City market, she works with business owners and executives to support growth initiatives through commercial banking relationships and strategic financial solutions. Kristin has led commercial banking, private banking, treasury management, and wealth management teams throughout her career, with extensive experience building and scaling high-performing banking divisions and regional markets. Her background includes leadership roles overseeing market expansion, team development, acquisition integration, and relationship management for middle-market and high-net-worth clients. Kristin is known for building collaborative cultures and helping organizations strengthen client relationships through responsive, local decision-making and strategic growth planning.
Kristin earned her MBA in Finance from Washburn University. She remains active in the Kansas City community through leadership and volunteer involvement with organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association Heart of America Chapter, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City, The Salvation Army, and NAWBO KC. Kristin previously served as Board Chair for the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) and is Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Golfology Fore Cardiology Charity Golf Tournament. She was recognized by the Kansas City Business Journal in 2016 as a Women of Influence honoree.
