Nanak Malhotra

As Vice President of Treasury Management, Nanak Malhotra brings deep expertise in developing customized financial solutions that help clients optimize their cash management and treasury operations. His unique combination of technical knowledge and business development experience enables him to understand complex business challenges across industries while delivering innovative treasury solutions. With over 18 years of experience, Nanak brings strategic insights and relationship management skills to every client partnership. He believes success happens when you prioritize customer value and establish strong relationships through consistent and quality engagement. 

Before working at First Business Bank, Nanak worked in business development for one of Wisconsin's largest commercial construction firms. In his role, he was responsible for client relations and driving new business development. Nanak excelled due to his strong relationship-building skills, strategic mindset, and passion for problem-solving. 

Nanak holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the UW-Madison and an MBA from Regent University. Nanak is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) and the Midwest Food Products Association.  One of his proudest professional achievements was in 2023 when he graduated from WMC's Wisconsin Leads: Executive Fellowship, a leadership development program for emerging executives in Wisconsin. 

Outside of work, Nanak enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Together, they love to cheer on the Milwaukee Brewers, play golf and pickleball, and volunteer with local nonprofits.
