Wade Goodsell serves as President of the WMC Foundation and Chief Operating Officer of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC). WMC is the largest and most influential business association in the state, with 3,800 members spanning all sectors of Wisconsin’s economy working to make Wisconsin the most competitive place in the nation to do business. In his role, Wade guides WMC’s strategy, relationships, revenue and programming, including the Future Wisconsin Project, Wisconsin Business World, Manufacturing & CFO Roundtables, WI Leads Executive Fellowship, and the WMC Family Business Forum.
Prior to joining WMC, Wade worked at Baker Tilly in a national consulting and business development role. He also worked for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), where he served as Business Attraction Director. While at WEDC, he was recognized as one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers by Consultants Connect. Wade started his career at WMC working in membership and government relations and is a graduate of Bethel University.
Wade has been recognized by In Business on its 40 Under 40 list. When not coaching his kid’s youth sports teams, Wade serves as Audit Committee Chairman of the Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing Productivity’s Board of Directors and is President-Elect of the Association of State Chamber Professionals Board of Directors. He is married, and on a family quest to visit America’s National Parks.
