About Violet
Based out of our Des Plaines, IL office, Violet Hickox serves as Vice President – Accounts Receivable Financing, bringing more than 25 years of experience in Asset-Based Lending and Accounts Receivable Financing. Prior to joining First Business Bank, she spent 10 years as a Vice President of Underwriting at another financial institution. Violet began her career in credit as an Account Manager before transitioning to underwriting, where she enjoys the variety and challenge of evaluating new business opportunities.
Violet obtained a bachelor's degree in finance and an MBA from DePaul University. She is a member of the Chicago CFA chapter and has worked with the Chicago chapter of the Turnaround Management Association to organize women's networking events. Violet has also volunteered for many years with the Naperville Humane Society.
